HOW TO ARRIVE:

 

From Adolfo Suárez-Barajas International Airport:

Aranjuez is 58 km far from the Airport. In order to arrive to Aranjuez, you have two options: by train or by car. Consult below the details.

1) From Madrid to Aranjuez by train (‘CERCANÍAS’):

Train is a straightforward way to connect Madrid and Aranjuez. You can get several departure ways:

  • · From Adolfo Suárez-Barajas Airport:
  • From any of its four terminals you can access Metro line 8 (pink color) and go to Nuevos Ministerios station (6-8 stops). Once there, change to Train-Cercanías Platforms, and catch train to Aranjuez (line C-3, platform 8).

  • Only from terminal 4, you can take ‘CERCANÍAS’ train, line C-1 and change to line C-3 in any of the following stations: Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios, and Atocha. If you arrive to terminals T1, T2, and T3, you can take Metro until T4 and then change to the ‘CERCANíAS’ Train.

  • · From any of these ‘Cercanías’ stations: Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios, Sol, and Atocha you can get line C-3 direct to Aranjuez.
  • · From Atocha Renfe train station in Madrid. Address: Glorieta de Carlos V, Tel: 902 240 202 (attention from 6.00 am. to 1.00 am). Go to ‘Cercanías’ platforms, and look for platform of line C-3.

You can arrive Atocha RENFE Station by Metro: Atocha Renfe (línea 1). ByCercanías’ train: Atocha Renfe station. By Bus, lines 10, 24, 37, 45, 27, 34, 85, 86, 55, 102, 47, 247 (Ex- 47 red line), 26, Circular 1 (C-1), Circular 2 (C-2) 6, 32, 14, 19, 141, 59, 41, 54, 57, 58.

Duration: 50 minutos. Aprox. Price: 3 €.

 

Already in Aranjuez. Once you arrive to Aranjuez Train Station (opening times: 7:00h to 23:30h)

You can arrive to Palacio del Nuncio by walking (2 kms).

You can take a city bus: All lines (1-2-3-4) leave you near the VENUE, although 1, 2 and 4 have the closest stops. http://www.rta.com.es/urbanos.php
Price: 1,30 €.

2) From Madrid to Aranjuez, by bus:

  • From “Estación Sur de Autobuses” (http://www.estacionautobusesmadrid.com/frameset.html ). Address: Méndez Alvaro 83, . Phone: 91 468 42 00 (opened from 6.30 am to 24.00). Bus departures to Aranjuez every 15 min. Aprox. Duration, about 50 min. Price: 3.50 €

You can arrive to “Estación Sur” by Metro: Méndez Alvaro station (circular line, 6), by train Cercanías: Méndez Alvaro station (different lines: C1, C5, C7, C10), or by Bus lines, 113,141,8.

3) By car:

Aranjuez is 49 km far from Madrid downtown. The trip takes about 45 min.

From Madrid à autovía A-4 (Autovía de Andalucía), and take exit No 37 (Aranjuez Norte).

 

From Adolfo Suárez-Barajas International Airport:

Aranjuez is 58 km far from the Airport. In order to arrive by car, you must take M-40 highway and then A-4 (see previous indications)
